Boxes are: slipcases, clamshells, folding "flat" boxes, miniature chests of drawers, clamshell boxes with rounded spines. Seen below are a flat box closed and open (from left to right), holding a deck of cards, and the multi-coloured drawers from a chest of drawers. Each drawer is four inches wide and one inch tall.

Flat boxes can be used to house documents and books, and are as protective for books as clamshell boxes. The beauty if this form is that it can be used to house even exceptionally thin materials (that is, even a single page). Flat boxes can be made of leather, cloth, or paper. They can be very complex and high-end, or they can be single sheets of paper folded to offer protection for a limited period of time.

More photos to follow shortly.
